For just a mini store, this place knows what's up. The staff is always friendly and I feel like they know that you merely want your cup of excitement and to get back to your serious business of shopping. They prepare your drinks fast but not in a fashion where haste makes waste by any means! During the holidays this place is usually full to the brim with the line out the door. The staff still manages to shine their smiles and efficiently get the drinks made and out to there barista wannabes as fast as they can. It's always clean and very organized which must help when it comes to the efficiency and friendly attitudes if you ask me! The last time I went in I asked for a cup for my little one to put some of my drink in to share and I needed it diluted. "Oh can we help you with that?" was literally the immediate reaction. "Yes you may!" You can see why I'm back time and time again. Why give up a good thing?

Love this Starbucks! I work in the mall, so I visit them 2 sometimes 3x tops! In one day . The morning staff is so nice and knows your drink order right when you walk in. Gotta love that!

It's a Starbucks, so we'll keep getting our drinks, but... poorly designed. Located in the middle of Oak Brook mall, I can see why business is bustling and it'll always be packed. I'll admit, I'm still going to get a drink there regardless of my rating. The venue is tight, not a sit down Starbucks with two unmarked doors. The standing area isn't enough for the capacity of people coming through there, and with the unmarked doors, you get a lot of confused customers wandering through a crowded space. Not great, but... if I'm at the mall, I'll still get my drink.

This Starbucks is in the heart of the oak brook shopping center. It's a smaller version of a typical Starbucks box but no inside seating. However there is outdoor seating around the coffee shop and a bigger seating area just right across from it. I like the staff they were friendly and quick with my green tea latte. I know that I does get busy during the weekends. And the line does go out the door. But on a rainy day morning like today there was no line. I will come back for my Starbucks fix:)

This should be renamed Starbucks To Go or Starbucks Express because as soon as you get your coffee you had better hurry up and get going because there is absolutely no room for shenanigans, deep thought, conversations or even single chair here. But seriously, this location is small. So as I stood shoulder to shoulder with my fellow coffee/tea/pastry lovers, I did notice that the pastries were well stocked. The line kept moving. My drink was perfect. The barista was friendly if not a little frazzled(understandable). There's also a nice little outdoor sitting area not that far away. Still, this location is just SO small.

This place is hella small! Don't they know the people of Oak Brook need their afternoon coffee?! We went in around 1:30 PM and it was hard to even open the door due to the congestion. I can't imagine coming here during peak hours. I ordered a vanilla macchiato immediately following my friend who ordered a triple caramel macchiato. She got the vanilla with her extra espresso, I got the caramel. Next time, I'll save myself the headache and go to the Starbucks on 22nd.

This is a small site, but I was impressed with their efficiency in preparing drinks so that the shop didn't get overly cramped. It helps that the customer base here is focused on getting a caffeine kick before shopping, and they seem to know what they are doing in terms of ordering. I'm not a crazy starbucks goer... I can't handle spending $5+ for a drink often!! I had a skinny peppermint mocha which had great flavor, but they DO NOT serve their drinks hot enough!! I wanted to enjoy it hot, but to do so I ended up chugging the drink down in less than 5 minutes. Not worth it.

They need a new process. One person is making drinks for 11. Everyone else is small talking since there are 2 cashiers. Why can't one cashier make lemonade, etc and the barista makes more complicated drinks. It's not even in order. TWO frappucino'a that ordered several minutes after me got theirs 1st. Wtf

I have to give a big 5 stars for the ladies working at this Starbucks today. I've visited several times in the past due to work meetings with a retailer in the mall. Typically I grab a quick drink and a bite to eat when I'm heading home or for lunch. It's highly likely that these ladies are always awesome and I hadn't had the opportunity to notice. Unfortunately I did not get either ladies name...my receipt says Drawer 1-???. Anyway, they made a super delicious double espresso over ice (something that I order at almost every coffee shop that I visit). I drank a little and complimented the barista on how perfect it was compared to all the others I've had, especially at a multitude of other Starbucks. Most times the drink seems to just me an iced coffee with a weak amount of espresso included. How can 2 shots fill up a tall coffee cup? Weird. They listened to me and gave me tips on different drinks. They even went as far as making a drink for me (full sized tall) that was from the secret menu. It was a double shot vanilla with half and half and even more delicious than my first drink. I'll definitely be back.

Very strange store in this outdoor mall! It is very small and almost feels too small for how crowded this place gets. I waited 10 minutes for my coffee but I needed it!! The staff was friendly and upbeat.

Was so frustrated with my service here. I used to be a barista for a few years and I know how busy things can get, but I went into this Starbucks when it wasn't busy at all. I ordered a plain coffee and waited fifteen minutes for it as the girls moved at a snail's pace and messed up almost everyone's drinks. There were no apologies, even when customers politely explained that they have received the wrong beverage.

No complaints. Quality drink, as ordered. Fast service, friendly baristas. Odd location and tiny store. But plenty of seating outdoors. Apparently Tweens ask for free water here. So be prepared to wait behind that.

I've popped into this Starbucks just about every time I visited Oakbrook Mall since it's been there. (Maybe 15-20 times over the last decade?) I'm not a big shopper, but I love my Starbucks. When the weather's nice, this place is great. Jump in, get your drink, get out and on with your shopping. The cashiers have always been quick and friendly. It's a "walk-thru," but that's really just keeping with theme in Oakbrook. The location sucks in winter when you'd reallllly like to sit and defrost a bit with your drink, as drinks tend to get cold fast when you're drinking outside, but that's being really picky.

Our drinks were exactly what we ordered at the perfect temperature. They arrive 5 minutes apart. We ordered at the same time. No seating room, more like a walk-thru. Served my purpose at the moment but not a place to relax or recharge.

It was a small store in a busy mall. I think picked up wrong drink since it was hard to hear in there too. With those iced coffee drinks it can be hard to tell for they often taste similar. It's a convenient spot while you shop, but expect it to be busy.

Whoa, this isn't the usual starbucks quality drinks here. I have nothing against Starbucks, but this location needs to get back onto Starbucks consistency as the quality is quite lacking. My friend and I stopped here in search for some warm drinks to bring our core temperatures back to normal after being outside too long for work. It was the coldest day of the year. He got a flavored coffee and it was garbage. I got the Earl Grey latte. One sip and I knew they didn't know how to make drinks. Instead of a latte, it was tea in hot water with too much milk not mixed properly. Plus the place is small. I would say cute, but it was freezing inside (not its fault as doors are always being opened) and packed with people waiting for drinks.

Keep in mind that this isn't a sit-down Starbucks - it's a teeny one located in the center of the outdoor Oak Brook Mall, with just enough room for a line of people and the baristas behind their counter. Point being: it's not the place for laptop work or wi-fi (sad!). Try the Oak Brook Barnes & Noble for that instead.
